This site will close

This 'old' Emma Field website will close.

Reason? I get bombarded with phony sign-ons, just spammers and other garbage, and I just can't cope with it anymore time-wise. I am in the process of designing an entirely new site, where I'll control WHO registers again, and will open that site as soon as I return from our (soon-to-start) trip to Washington and Alaska (!!!).

Emma Field X: the groundwork is laid!

I've seen some rumblings lately from unhappy 'simmers who think we've abandoned Emma Field X. Nothing could be farther from the truth! Holger did the landscaping for the project last year, but I've been too busy with other projects to get to the airport grounds until now. Last week, I cleared off the trees from the location and began leveling, mowing, and paving. See the shots below for the current state of things. The modeling is next, and commences this coming week.

See the Emma Forum Topic for the latest updates and screenshots from Bill Womack.

The Emma Field Flying Club

Welcome to the Emma Field Flying Club !!

You have stumbled upon our new 'club site' and are now about to enter the fabulous virtual world of Emma Field's Flying Club.
This IS a real-world club, with real members and all their human quirks and pleasantries, but they fly in VIRTUAL aircraft, from a non-exisitent airfield somewhere in Washington State, using Microsoft's Flight Simulator to cater for their aviation world.

If you're curious to see if this might be something for you..... joining the world's largest virtual flying club, then read the rest of this story and look around on our website. You'll be amazed to say the least!
