Because of time constraints and complexity there is no automated, database driven, techno-fuzzy, high-tech and sophisticated member registration and administration system in use yet. Not surprisingly of course, since Fritz' only administration tools were his old typewriter and a pile of notebooks. This is bush country and the EFFC does not have a Cray Super Computer. Not even a high-end PC come to think of it. So for now all member administration is done by the EFFC Member Administrator, using Fritz's old typewriter and the club's old 486 with email running over one of the 3 phone lines we have here.

The above is just my way of telling you that I have time nor skills to implement yet another automated admin tool. We had one and most people either did not use it, could not find it, or had trouble with it. Me especially ! ;-)

What do you need to become a member:

1) An internet connection to be able to read this site, the Emma Field FC Forum and possibly do multi-player flying
2) Microsoft's Flight Simulator FS2004 (preferably) or FS2002 (or FSX when we have a new Emma!)
3) LAGO's Emma Field (a scenery add-on depicting the Emma Field airfield in Washington State)
4) A huge sense of humor and love for VFR flying (!)
5) Lots of patience with the organizers..... Fritz is slow ...errrr.. busy!!! (Having said that, we now have some help, so you might get lucky and receive your Member Number within a day..... just don't count on it !!)

Membership is free..... so no excuse NOT to join !!

And what do you need to DO:

1) Send an email to me ( This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it ) with "JOIN EMMAFIELD" in the subject line please (I might think it is Spam otherwise)
2) State your (real !) full name, your handle or nickname (if you have one), country of residence and email address
3) Wait patiently to receive your number
4) Meanwhile, register at the simFlight Forums and check out the Emma Field Forum
